The Deucalion flood myth vs the epic of gilgamesh

The flood from the epic of Gilgamesh and the Deucalion myth relate and differ in a couple ways. One way these stories relate is the floods were both caused by the gods. In the epic of Gilgamesh the god Emil caused the flood because the people became negligent of their sacrifices. Which is similar to the Deucalion myth because Zues caused the flood because people became greedy and disobedient. Another way these stories are alike Is the people caused the gods to get mad and create a disastrous flood. Although they are alike the stories also differ, one way they differ is the flood in the epic of Gilgamesh only lasted six days and six nights. However the flood in the Deucalion myth lasted nine days and nine nights. Also only utnapishtim survived the flood in the epic of Gilgamesh. And multiple people such as Pyrrha and Deucalion.
